We serve professionals and students in the social and CSR sectors as an online platform by providing interdisciplinary lines of social companies and BoP businesses. We bring together jobs, fellowships, grants, RFPs, admissions, events, and news in the development space.

With over 1.25 Lakh NGOs, 2000+ social businesses and 2500+ CSR Leaders, NGOBOX is a reputable knowledge platform for organisational outreach and targeted advertising in addition to broadcasting pertinent material for maximum information dissemination among relevant stakeholders.

Funds4ngo, through its chapters, gives financial grants and mentoring support to NGOs working primarily in livelihood, employment, and income generation.

Funds4ngo typically grants the NGO a grant of Rs 10 – 15 lac per annum. However, the more significant benefit for our investee organizations lies in leveraging the time, skills, and expertise of the Funds4ngo partner group, the value of which can easily be 3 – 5x the financial support.

Our partners act as mentors, supporting the founder and top management of the NGO to achieve their goals. We provide strategic guidance and open our networks to the NGO, removing roadblocks to accelerate the growth of our investee NGOs.

Funds4ngo unique model allows for financial and non-financial support of qualifying NGOs.

Aim of the fund

Our work in India centres around funding small NGOs working with the most vulnerable communities in priority geographical areas.

We believe that communities must be central to the work partners undertake and should place people facing disadvantage in India at the heart of leading change and designing solutions to overcome inequality.

The strategic aims of the fund are to:

  • encourage NGOs to take on community-centric development programmes;
  • enable communities to take charge of their own development and improve their lives;
  • encourage development funding to address systemic change; and
  • enhance the capacity of organisations and people who facilitate the above aims.

Who we want to support

Organisations supported within the Fund have to be local Indian NGOs with Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) registration.

We are looking to fund organisations who are:

  • working with communities to develop their ideas;
  • improving the overall wellbeing of communities in the long-term – not just short-term improvements;
  • developing links between their own work and those of the panchayats (in rural areas) and the municipalities (in urban areas);
  • aware of and mitigating their environmental impact and seeking to improve the ecology of the area they’re based; and
  • working to promote gender equality and support people of all genders to make change.
